ATTENTION: There is a correction to the Weanling Sweepstakes class description that was published in the 2013 NY Combined prize list. The class description for class 143 should read:

Entries close at 5 PM on Thursday, Sept 12, 2013.  All entries are potentially subject to DNA testing at the conclusion of the class.  An order-of-go will be established and posted in the office.  For the class, entries may enter the ring from either gate and will proceed to the ingate end of the ring to show before the judges according to the call judge’s instructions.  The entry will then leave the ring by either gate.  After all entries have been individually judged, the judges’ cards will be tabulated and the Top 12 will then be called back to the ring to show concurrently, according to the call judge’s instructions. Final results will be tabulated and the 11th and 12th place horses will be excused.  The classed will then be pinned in reverse order.  Upon exiting the class, the Champion, Reserve Champion, and one other randomly selected Top 10 entry will have hair pulled for DNA testing.

PLEASE NOTE: The 2013 Hunter/Western Pleasure Sweepstakes class will be split for the railwork portion of the class. The Hunter Pleasure horses will show first, followed by the Western Pleasure horses. All entries will return to the ring for the strip portion of the class and final judging.
