.jpg) Bellerophon hails from a dynasty of great blood. He is sired by the legendary Triple Crown World Champion HVK Bell Flaire and out of the late Troutbrook Hallmark mare, Carmen Sandiego.
As a performance horse,from his exciting debut as a two year old in New Englands Park Harness division, to his dual World Championships in the Three Year Old Park Harness Division and his stunning unanimous Four Year Old Park Harness Stallion Grand National Championship in 2008, Bellerophon has been making heads turn wherever he lights up an arena. In 2009, he teamed up with his owner to great success in the Amateur division. He is the 2007 UPHA Morgan Park Horse of the Year and many times a People's Choice Champion. Bellerophon has proven that he is and will continue to be a successful performance horse, and we look forward to the next chapter in his young career, as a sire.
A son of the incomparable HVK Bell Flair, by Noble Flaire, Bellerophon's bottom line rivals that of many great breeding horses. His dam, Carmen Sandiego,is sired by Troutbrook Hallmark, sire of such grand show and breeding horses as Dancity Gracious Remark, Hyland Acres Obsession, Saralin In Excess,Heir of Fortune, Floralan Hialeah and Hi Sage Siempra. His second dam,Nikki Lee, is a maternal sister to the good producers CyDon's Marleen (dam of Intrinsic Beauty) and Cy Don's Cynthia (dam of Pompp and Pazazz).
Bellerophon's first champions were born last spring out of the mares Honeytree's Simply Unique, Illicit Love and LPS Not So Bad, resulting in three striking individuals. His first to hit the show ring was the colt, U-Nanimous(x Honetree's Simply Unique), who captured the Reserve Grand Champion title in the Morgan Weanling Gala.
